HELLO SEATTLE

In the Summer of 2008, I did my first ever

Cross-Country road trip. It was to Seattle, Washington

for the CFC-Youth (YFL) National Conference.

The experience of a road trip is something

beyond words can ever describe.

The scenery, the people you meet, the friends and

frenemies you make.

Before heading out of town, A friend gave us

a CD she made for the drive back to NY.

Somewhere along the nonstop 10+hr drives, pouring rain,

and numerous amounts of beef jerky, the song

HELLO SEATTLE by OWL CITY

came on.

Listening to it made me miss Seattle a bit more

and had me saying, "I'll see you soon"

7+ years later I'm saying hello again. :)

but this time, minus the 3 1/2 day,

oh we tried for a nonstop, drive.
